"Dr. Joshua Halka is an amazing surgeon. I went in knowing what I wanted and Dr. Halka delivered. He gave me exactly what I was hoping for. I went in for a breast augmentation and showed him a picture of exactly what I wanted and he made it happen. I've never felt more myself than I do now thanks to him and his wonderful team. Every question I asked was answered. I live out of state and the whole process was so easy and fluid. The only think I didn't like was the wait to get it done (waiting for my surgery date to get here). Lol but that's on me for waiting so long. I look the best I ever have in my life. "Excellent Surgeon; Excellent Results - Dr. Halka did an outstanding job replacing my 15-year-old saline breast implants. I researched extensively before selecting a surgeon. I was dealing with one of the 15-year-old implants having suddenly ruptured and deflated. I was concerned that this might cause complications and less-than-ideal results with the replacement; therefore, I wanted an exceptionally-skilled surgeon. I considered surgeons in Huntsville, Nashville, and Birmingham. After my consultation with Dr. Halka, I was confident that he was the right choice. It was clear to me that he had the knowledge, skill, and experience I was seeking in a surgeon. My impression was right! He did a great job. He replaced both implants (submuscular, saline, inframammary incision); and, the results exceeded my expectations! I’m six-weeks post op, and the scars are healing beautifully. "A Whole New Me! - What a life-changing experience with Dr. Halka! As a 45-year-old woman, wife, and mother, I finally realized that taking care of myself IS taking care of my family. I decided to put myself and my health first for a change and set a goal to lose the excess weight I've been carrying around my entire life. With bariatric surgery, a complete lifestyle change to a low-carb diet, and 4-6 intense 5 am workouts weekly, I lost 110 pounds and have maintained the loss for two and a half years. This was ah-mazing! However, after two years of hard work and dedication, my body was still a saggy, floppy mess even after the incredible weight loss. I decided to go for a Mommy Makeover consultation at Hedden & Gunn Plastic Surgery after following them on Instagram for about a year. I met with Dr. Halka, who was very thorough and took his time explaining everything, answering all of my questions, and addressing all of my concerns. I went on two other consultations in Huntsville, AL, and Chattanooga, TN as those locations are closer to my home, but ultimately, I chose Dr. Halka's plan for the procedure and recovery because it was the best. We decided on a 360 body lift with muscle repair and lipo, breast augmentation with 500 cc Mentor silicone implants placed above the muscle, and fat transfer to the buttocks. The procedure went smoothly with no complications, and I followed the post-op instructions to the letter. Now, 12 weeks post-op, I am incredibly happy with my results. Dr. Halka didn't just perform a Mommy Makeover, he created a whole new version of me. I'm in the best shape of my life and finally, at 47 years of age, I feel confident, beautiful, and comfortable in my skin. I'm incredibly grateful for Dr. Halka's kindness, talent, and expertise. "I went for a consultation with Dr. Halka on 10/25 2023 because in my mammogram report one of my 34 year old breast implants was leaking silicon. Dr. Halka spent time with my husband and I and explained all of the different options I had. He answered all of our questions and had a very caring and knowledgeable presence about himself that my husband and I felt good about. I chose to have a capsulectomy with silicone implant replacement. Dr. Halka help me feel very confident about my decision and I was happy about having a choice in my care. He explained the complexity in the surgery in depth with us and let us know that I would probably need a breast lift that I could have 6 weeks after the capsulectomy. I had the surgery on 11/6/2023 with very little post op pain, and to say that I am completely satisfied is an understatement. He did a fantastic job. He did such a good job that I no longer need a breast lift. In fact his whole staff including his assistant Caroline and the entire OR team were wonderful. I do not usually refer Dr's but I highly recommend Dr Halka and his team. I have faith you won't be disappointed."

"Amazing difference & much more natural look after breast implant revision - "Wow, what an amazing difference," was the verdict from my thirty year old daughter when she saw the results! Nearly fifteen years ago, I had breast implants and augmentation after loosing tissue on one side. In the months and years that followed, I noticed an abnormally full contour at the top of my chest. When it did not resolve, I simply decided to live with the results. After all, I chose to have this done. All these years later, it was Dr. Joshua Halka who explained to me that I was experiencing some Capsular Contracture, an inflammation and thickening of the implant capsule and that it could be addressed.
