How Is a Neck Lift Performed?
A neck lift is performed utilizing IV sedation or general anesthesia. Depending on the treatment plan, one of two incision techniques will be used:
Traditional neck lift: An incision will be made beginning at the hairline near the sideburn and will continue down around the ears. Fat may be redistributed, skin repositioned, and muscles tightened. The skin will be redraped and excess skin trimmed away.
Limited neck lift: Smaller incisions are made around the ear and results may be more limited.
