"I feel like I am in the best shape of my life! - I first went to Dr. Fontana for Botox and fillers when she was at Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC. After being disappointed with other doctors, I knew I was lucky to have discovered Dr. Fontana; she always provided me with amazing results!By the time I decided to finally pull the trigger and have permanent procedures done, Dr. Fontana had moved on for a Fellowship, but it was a no-brainer that I needed to travel and follow her for my desired plastic surgeries. I knew I trusted the skills of Dr. Fontana more than any other doctor I have encountered, and I can 1000% affirm that I was right to! These were my first surgeries of any kind, so of course I was still initially nervous, but there is something about Dr. Fontana’s very caring demeanor that so easily puts me at ease, and I knew I was in good hands. Most importantly, I had seen Dr. Fontana’s work and it is clear that she is an extremely talented surgeon! My results somehow even exceeded my expectations!!!Okay, now for the details:I am 41 years old (40 years old at time of the surgeries), athletic (run marathons and do crossfit), but have some stubborn areas of my body that were only getting worse with age, even with diet and exercise. I have included several before and after pictures, with the after pictures being about 2.5 months post-op. I had always been unhappy with the excess fat below my chin and the increasingly excess tissue above my eyelids. I had also previously had Dr. Fontana do fillers to better define my cheekbones. To finally permanently address these areas I was unhappy with, Dr. Fontana performed liposuction under my chin, upper blepharoplasty, and fat grafting to my cheekbones. I feel like these three procedures took 10 years off my face! I did not experience any pain or discomfort from any of these procedures, and wearing the compression for a few weeks under my chin was not bad at all (I would literally forget I was wearing it sometimes!). Obviously, I am extremely happy with my results! I know I am holding my head higher as it has rejuvenated my self-confidence; I even cut my hair short to accentuate these features I previously tried to hide!My family genetics cause me to retain excess fat around my midsection, which again was only getting worse with age, despite diet and exercise. Since I have been doing crossfit since my late 20s, several years ago I was close to seeing some markings of defined abs, but they were fading under my expanding “love handles”. My self-esteem was also decreasing as I was no longer able to fit into more and more of the clothes I loved. Dr. Fontana addressed my specific concerns, and gave me back my positive body image, by performing liposuction on flanks and abdominal etching. Dr. Fontana’s work DRASTICALLY exceeded my expectations! It is crazy that now, at 41 years old, I feel like I am in the best shape of my life!!! I have never felt so confident in my body! As an unexpected bonus, being so happy in my body has made me even more motivated to maintain a healthy lifestyle, which I am very happy about! As for recovery, while there were a few weeks of swelling that could get a little uncomfortable at times, the compression really helped and I was only on pain killers for 2 days, so not a bad recovery at all.If anyone is questioning if they should choose Dr. Fontana, my advice would be to stop questioning and get an appointment with her ASAP!!! I feel like my pictures of her work speak for themselves; you will not be disappointed! My only regret is waiting as long as I did to finally set up my procedures…I’m kicking myself for not making the appointment to rejuvenate myself sooner!"

"PLEASE READ………….. Dr. Pasha Mostofi, MD, is the best doctor I have ever had in my life. He preformed an upper eyelid blepharoplasty and lower eyelid blepharoplasty, face lift, neck platysmaplasty, & rhinoplasty. I’d never had anything major done cosmetically. I was nervous. He put me at ease immediately. He is a perfectionist & that is what you want in a plastic surgeon. The first day I met Dr. Pasha Mostofi it was for Botox & a consult. He did my Botox injections I ask him about fillers for my face. He said you do not need them & I will never do anything that doesn’t enhance your appearance. I liked that he wasn’t trying to sell me on anything & he was honest. He then sit down next to me & brought out his iPad. He walked me through each of the procedures that I was wanting to have done. He showed me actual highlights of videos & pictures of his surgeries explaining what he would be doing to me to help achieve my goals. (Don’t worry he didn’t show the gory stuff). To have an understanding of the process was so very helpful. He wasn’t in a hurry either. He took his time. He answered all of my questions. Dr Pasha wasn’t trying to rush me so he could get out of the room with me to move on to the next patient. That meant a lot since most doctors visits are rushed these days. Fast forward to my surgery day. He came to see me before they took me back to the operating room. He ask if I had any questions. He put me at ease & it was GO TIME. The surgery went great!!! He even called me that night to check on me. Afterwards he gave me his cell number to text him with any concerns or questions that I may have before my follow up appointment. I did text him & he answered me within 15 minutes. Over the next couple of months as I heeled I text him a couple more times & he got back to me immediately. I couldn’t believe it. A doctor giving you his cell number & he text you back. I’ve never seen this in my lifetime. As the swelling & bruises started to heal I could tell a huge difference & now after 4 months I can see what a magnificent plastic surgeon Dr Pasha Mostofi truly is. My under eye bags & the hump in my nose are gone. I no longer have the sagging skin that made me look tired. My neck looks like it did 15 years ago. Family & friends that didn’t know I was having plastic surgery keep telling me how good they think I look. They ask me what am I doing to look so bright eyed & fresh faced. Some even use the word glowing. Hey, at 62 years old I sure love hearing those compliments. 😁 I am so happy with my results. I have more confidence & a big smile on my face. He has made such a difference in my life. "I would give 10 stars if I could for Meredith (Mgr.) at Hedden Plastic Surgery. I had plastic surgery on my eyes , face & neck just 2 wks ago. I also have a lot of sun damage. Dr. Pasha did my surgery & he is phenomenal as well. He prescribed me Tretinoin Cream for my sun damaged face. I had questions so I reached out to a nurse. She text me back & said our manager MEREDITH is going to call you., she called me within 1 minute. She has used the product for a year now. She told me everything I needed to know plus more. She went over & beyond. We spoke for 20 minutes, 20 minutes!!! I couldn’t believe she spoke to me for that long. She answered all of my questions. "Dr.Pasha was a new physician for me and I felt comfortable the moment I met him back in the spring of this year. He did some successful botox for me, but I wasn't quite sure if I was needing something more . He seemed to sense this, but without prying, he took a little bit longer during my visit to explain different options that are available there at their practice. He was reassuring & informative, but not pushy. Supportive but not persuasive. He nor any of his nurses/staff tried to talk me into anything more. They were just so kind. Prices are reasonable. Everything is so organized and in such a warm, cozy way. I traveled from Memphis to Birmingham just to see him and I’m very pleased - i had my very first breast implants & lift w/ Dr. Hedden. a lot of my friends went to him so it was a no brainer for me. i traveled from Memphis to Birmingham just to see him and i’m very pleased. i’m 7 days post op, had very minimal bruising. he’s straight to the point but listens to your needs as well. his staff is very kind & informative. i will definitely be returning for a nose job once i get the boobs paid off :)"

"My experience with Dr. Hedden was the best! I had a breast augmentation in July of 2012 and it was okay. I did 290cc of saline I can't say anything bad about that surgeon. I just wanted an upgrade I wanted them bigger and I wanted silicone! I had a friend that went to dr. Hedden and she was very pleased with him, so I decided I scheduled a consultation with him it took me about 2 months to get a consultation. I was in the office for probably 15 mins before I was called into a room to see dr. Hedden! Me and my boyfriend played around with the samples while we waited to see what size we liked. I was kinda hard for me to tell what it would look like since I already had implants. Originally I was wanting to go to a 450! But me and my boyfriend continued to talk about it and said we really couldn't even tell a difference so we picked 500 (he wanted me to go a lot bigger being a male of course) but I researched and researched females my size and 500 cc of silicone gel, and I truly liked the size and I felt those would look best! My consultation was July the 14th and that day we scheduled the surgery for august the 10th. My surgery was scheduled for 8 I got back in the room about 9 around 10 the took me back for surgery. I remember waking up around 12:15 and I left at 12:30, I ended up getting 525cc silicone gel! It was a super easy process. I felt like everything was done in a timely manor. I stayed the night the night of my surgery and had to follow up post op day one, while I was there I got some juvaderm injections in my lips! It was pretty painful but I have to say I absolutely love them! They a beautiful I've received so many compliments on my lips! I'm now post op day 5 I can pretty much do anything I'm still a little sore! I will return to work Friday and I can't wait to show off my lips! I highly recommend dr. Hedden and his facility. He truly listens to you and your concerns. He puts his patients first. The staff is awesome as well, they make you feel at home. And the anesthesiologist was great to! The day after I got home I had a get well soon card from his facility which was super kind. If I could do it all over again I wouldn't change one thing! In my opinion Dr. hedden in the BEST plastic surgery!"
"Dr. Schaffer and his staff are absolutely amazing! I had breast augmentation on April 14th 2017. Over the past month Dr. Schaffer and his staff have taken very good care of me. I had some issues that were unexpected, unplanned for and were not anyone's fault, my body just didn't want to cooperate! Dr. Schaffer made sure that he did everything in his power to treat me properly and professionally take care of me. He even saw me in his office on a Saturday night, when he didn't have to! He took time away from his family and personal life to check on me, even calling my husband the next day to make sure all was good. "31 Year Old, Childless and Breastless - This initial review will be short until I have more time to fully describe the GREAT experience and breast augmentation that I received at Hedden Plastic Surgery in Birmingham, Alabama. Prior to deciding to undergo a breast augmentation, my weight settled at 135 lbs on my 5'7" frame and my poor breasts were deflated. My right breast was in Stage I ptosis and I knew that I wanted to do something about them. My Iphone made my breast look really saggy but when Dr. Hedden saw me on July 11th, he told me that I did NOT need a lift and would be fine with a breast augmentation. I settled on 450 cc in my right breast and 485 cc in my left breast. Recovery was harder than I expected. My cousin stayed with me for a week but the first 4 days were intense and I do not have any memory of day #3. However, 12 days later I feel great. My girls are dropping at different rates but I expected that (they've always had their own personality and swag) but ultimately, I am VERY pleased. I will upload pics later."
"I have been a client of Dr. Hedden for several years. I have gotten Botox, Dysport and Juvéderm injections, Chemical Peels, Lime Light, Titan, and recently Fraxel and Pearl. I have always been extremely pleased with the results at Hedden's office. I once went to a medi-spa with a Juvéderm coupon and left horrified at my appearance. My lips looked like a duck and my upper lip was lumpy. It really takes talent, practice, and knowledge to get it right. Dr. Hedden has all 3. I'll never go back that medi-spa again.
I prefer Dysport over Botox to get rid of and prevent forehead wrinkles. It seems to last a little longer and costs a little less! I love Juvéderm to slightly plump my lips and fill in my nasolabial fold."
"Over the last year I have lost some excess weight through diet and exercise. Despite my extremely active exercise program I was still unable to lose specific pockets of body fat. Also, due to the weight loss, my face had lost fat and was looking aged, to include sunken eyes and deep smile lines.
After coming to the realization that more exercise would not get rid of the body fat and more dieting only resulted in increased fat loss from my face, I decided to see a plastic surgeon. Based on multiple recommendations and outstanding experiences by friends, family and co-workers, I chose to see Dr. Hedden.
During my consultation, Dr. Hedden explained what needed to be done. He was extremely professional and informative.
Just a couple of months later I underwent SmartLipo to my abdomen and flanks, fat transfer to my lips, cheeks, smile lines and under my eyes. I also had my tummmy tuck scar revised and Dysport injected into my forehead and crow's feet. It was so nice to go to the surgery center in Dr. Hedden's building. The staff was so nice and took such good care of me. I can't say enough how much I appreciate their part in my care.

"Dr. Hedden Did a Wonderful Job! - Birmingham, AL - I went in for my interview and he was very kind and understanding with what I wanted. I had a larger bump in my nose that I always was very self conscience about. He didn't try to persuade me into getting a drastic change which would have cost 9k or more. He simply agreed to keep it subtle and remove the bump to create an arch. Him and his staff were wonderful. Recovery went better than expected and I couldn't be happier with the results. "I have been overweight all my life. I was 49 years old, weighed 289 lbs, and extremely depressed. My feet, legs, hips and especially my back hurt. I wore a size 22/24 and my feet swelled so that I could only wear one pair of dress shoes comfortably and without embarassment. I considered gastric bypass surgery for a couple of years and had just witnessed one of my best friends go through it with great success.
I made the decision to have the bypass surgery, lost 150 lbs and felt great. I was wearing a size 6-8 and looked pretty good in clothes.
I was very happy but the weight loss left my 50 year old body with a lot of excess skin. My breasts, which had previously been a 42 DDD, had become what my fiancé termed as "36 LONGS." I had nothing left but empty skin sacks. My abdomen also hung with loose skin. My legs were extremely horrible with a lot of loose skin and my arms had "bat-wings."
I made an appointment with Dr. Hedden to talk about having four procedures. He gave me the prices for tummy tuck, breast lift, leg lift and arm lift. My legs were what bothered me most and I called to schedule that procedure first. I'd had large breasts all my life and having just the breast lift would have left me with a full B/loose C cup. After talking with Dr. Hedden, I decided to go up one cup size. That is a decision I do not regret.
I had the tummy tuck and breast lift with augmentation done in his office. The staff was wonderful and very professional. I was given a prescription for pain killers and muscle relaxers. My first night was spent in a hotel room so that I could be close to Dr. Hedden's office in case of an emergency. My fiancé stayed with me, helped me to the restroom and cared for me. I had mild discomfort but it was nothing like what had been described by other people who "knew someone who had had the surgery and couldn't move for 6 weeks." I did just what the doctor ordered and had very little discomfort even having both procedures at once. The staff at Dr. Hedden's office marveled at my recovery time.
I am now a happy 36D with a very flat tummy. I love my new body and have been able to shop at Victoria's Secret for more than just the lotions! I will be going back for the other two procedures (legs and arms). Maybe after that I will have a facelift … after all I am 51 years old now!
I would highly and happily recommend Dr. William J. Hedden and his staff to anyone who is considering cosmetic surgery."

"I am 67 years old and finally saved up the money to have a chin/jaw lift. Dr. Hedden performed the surgery and did a very natural looking job on my face. I have had many compliments on my "youthful" face from people who did not know that I had the surgery.
My experiences with the clinic have been very positive. All the nurses and personnel have been very professional. "Under Eye Bags Removed -Dr. Schaffer- Birmingham, AL - I found Dr. Hedden's office features in Sky miles magazine awhile back. I had been thinking of getting my under eyes done and decided to research this office. I am 48 and felt the bags under my eyes were aging me. I read nothing but good reviews and the doctors credentials were impressive. I called Hedden and was referred to their out of town patient coordinator named Heather. She took my information and promptly emailed me the necessary information to start preparing for the surgery which I scheduled for Friday the 13th. I was originally scheduled with Dr. Hedden who recommended Dr. Schaffer due to his expertise with facial procedures. I agrees to the switch and am glad I did. My overall experience with Dr. Schaffer as well as the staff was absolutely a positive experience. All of my questions were answered knowledgeably and patiently. All emails and phone called were returned in a timely manner. I arrived from Nashville on a Thursday for pre op meeting and left on Saturday after my post op meeting. The healing was amazingly quick. I emailed pictures to Heather 2 weeks later and requested a follow up meeting 2 weeks after that to ensure my recovery was on the right track. Wynn, the head nurse agreed to fit me on a Saturday ( 1 month after surgery), to see Dr. Schaffer so I would not have to take anymore time off of work. What excellent customer service.!!!! Dr. Schaffer was very happy with the results and healing and pulled up my pre op photos.... WOW! What a difference,,... In a fantastic way. I look so much younger and not tired! This office as well as the staff has earned my respect and future business. If you are considering a procedure, I highly recommend Hedden Plastic Surgery and specifically Dr. Schaffer. "Fuller Lips - Auburn, AL - Dr. Hedden did my lip injections and far surpassed my expectations! There was zero pain during the procedure and he was extremely nice and knowledgeable. The only pain that I experienced was the night after the injections were done. My lips were a bit sore but it was very minor. I love the end results!!! I would recommend him to anyone:)"
