"I looked and searched for a practice I felt comfortable with for a mommy makeover. I found the team for Dr. Hedden to be very kind and helpful, but also encouraging and not pushy. He is exceptionally kind and patient with all my questions and concerns, and I am so happy I chose him as my surgeon. He did my brachioplasty (arm lift) and breast lift 7 weeks ago, and I am thrilled with my results. My scars look fantastic, and I honestly can’t believe how wonderfully everything is healing. I’ve had zero problems or complications. Dr. Halka will be performing my next two surgeries, a lower body lift and a thigh lift, in the coming months, and I have no worries about my care and comfort in his hands. "I have had three surgeries with Dr. Halka @ Hedden & Gunn. A lower body lift w/bbl in 03/2024 a breast lift w/ implants 07/2024 and an upper body lift 12/2024. I lost over 119 pounds with diet and exercise, I maintained the weight loss for two years and then started considering cosmetic surgery to remove the excess skin. My first consult was with a surgeon in Miami. I was nervous but paid a deposit then I thought perhaps I find a Doctor near where I live, which led me to Hedden and Gunn. I did a virtual consultation with Dr. Halka he was very thorough explaining every option in detail and even including photos of results from each surgery, He then recommended what he thought would be my best option. I then decided to meet with him in person and I could not be more glad that I did, with surgery there are many ups and downs but the care I have received by everyone at this facility has been beyond what I could have ever expected. I have said many times that I am so glad that I decided to have my surgery locally and not out of state (in my case) I am sure many surgeries go off without a hitch but to have the clinic and staff close by for any and every concern I have had has been the best option for me. I absolutely love my results, I could not have ever imagined better results even if I tried!"

"I had my tummy tuck surgery done about a year and I must say am more confident about how I look now. He really did a great job from waist 34” to 28” now. The recovery after surgery has it’s own challenges but after 2 weeks I was fine . Dr. Halka was checking on me with phone calls to make sure everything was good. The staff were awesome and very polite in person and on phone ready to answer all my questions . I really love my body shape now, I don’t have to wear any body shaper under my clothes. He is a doctor who really listens and advises on making the right choices concerning any type of plastic surgery you looking forward doing. I recommend him today and always. "If you are considering going to another plastic surgeon, I urge you to reconsider. Dr. Hedden works magic. I had a tummy tuck with another Birmingham doctor three years ago and was left deformed. I had ripples all over my stomach and loose skin. It killed my confidence. After vetting many other plastic surgeons in the Birmingham area, I decided to pull the trigger on Dr. Hedden in June. My case was challenging, but it never phased Dr. Hedden to do a revision. I also decided to have a lift and implants put in. Words cannot describe how happy I am. "I had a bbl and lipo 360 with Dr. Hedden last year, and I’ve been very happy with my results. I did an online consultation. The following appointments were pretty quick, and overall, the price was reasonable for what I had done. They were very straight forward about pricing and everything involved with the surgery. They also have good post surgery support, which I appreciated. I really liked that they have an after hours line for any problems you may have, and I could get in touch with an on call nurse who actually answers if I had any issues. I recommend them. I’m happy with how my body turned out, and the overall process was very organized and went smoothly."

"I highly recommend Dr Hedden. When I was considering having a tummy tuck to tighten loose skin, I had a lot of questions and wanted to make sure I chose the right doctor. I called a friend who previously worked for Dr. Hedden. She went on and on about what a skilled physician he was and how talented he was. When I went in for my consultation, he sat down and we discussed everything about the surgery and what I could expect post surgery. I had a lot of questions and he took plenty of time to answer them all. I even asked him about another procedure that I was curious about and he told me I didn’t need it. He didn’t try to make another sale, he simply said, “you don’t need that.” After we talked, I knew immediately, he was the doctor for me. The day of my surgery, I was a little nervous. The nurse told Dr. Hedden and he came in and reassured me. He is so awesome! My surgery and recovery went smoothly and I have been extremely pleased with my results."

"I almost didn’t try this doctor because of a negative review talking about “how rude” the staff was. I have been to this facility many times and not once have they been rude. Thankfully I didn’t listen to that person. I’ve had a breast augmentation, tummy tuck, and lipo from Dr Gunn back in May of this year, and he did an excellent job! I’m actually scheduled to go back next year for some extra surgery. I am so glad after researching many doctors, I went with this one. I had such a good feeling when I walked into the building.
