"I have had several different procedures performed by Hedden & Gunn Plastic Surgery from face and neck peels, Mohs surgery with skin graft, to facials, massages, hair, manicures, pedicures, skin care line and have been very pleased with everything they do. The staff is very professional and personable. So glad they were recommended to me. See you soon, Traci!"
"This practice is extremely professional, and the service rendered is second to none regarding cost and quality. I highly recommend using Hedden and Gunn for all plastic surgery needs. They also have a great spa with anything and everything pertaining to skin care. I am very surprised to see one-star reviews and I assume this is due to getting turned away after going through their very diligent consulting process to keep patients safe."
"I had an upper eyelid lift and fat transfer to my face and my wife had full face laser resurfacing and cheek fat transfer. We both are completely satisfied and amazed at the results. Dr Hedden and staff were terrific in every aspect. We highly recommend Hedden Plastic Surgery Center."
"Breast lift (mastopexy) with augmentation - I am 33 years old and I’ve had self confidence issues for around 13 years because of super sagging flat breasts that had a wrinkled stretched raisin like appearance. After breast feeding my two children and my weight loss from 224 lbs to 160 lbs - I finally decided I had enough of my breasts looking the way they did. I had my breast surgery on 3/28/8. When I woke up from the surgery I was in an immense amount of pain but that faded over 3 days and I went back to work after 4 days. (Very light work duty) Right now I’m sitting at a little over a month since having them done. I chose silicone cohesive gel mentor implants filled with 450cc each. A little before 2 weeks my right breast had an allergic reaction to the adhesive of the steri strips so I took some steroids and tried to keep the steri strips on a little longer. I took the steri strips off just before the 3 week mark and the incisions looked a little scary, because of the scabbing but that’s normal. The scabs finally fell off and the incisions looked awesome for how little time had passed. At a month post op I sent my surgeon pictures and he said my nipples were still sitting a little low because the implants were still a little high. He instructed me to start massaging down so the implants would drop and give me a more natural look. I’ve also started using a scar treatment called ScarGard - it stinks something awful!! Overall I’m thrilled with how they look and can’t wait to see the final result! Updated on 4 Jun 2020:Just wanted to update with original pictures and results! One thing that I might change would be nipple size. (I would have had him cut them down a bit) It seems like once my nipples were cut lose, they relaxed and just stayed that way and now appear pretty large. I don’t have the “drawn up” movement ever - even when I’m cold. But overall, I feel like my scars are pretty minimal and my confidence has definitely improved."
"27 Years Old, No Kids, 5'7", 157lbs, 470cc with Lollipop Lift - Birmingham, AL - I had my procedure yesterday and I felt compelled to write a review after all the time I spent on this website and how much it helped me. I am 27 years old, active female and I've had saggy breasts since before I could remember. After years of wanting larger breasts I met with a local PS and found out I also needed a lift. However I didn't really like that PS so I can went in search of a new one. After severalCo workers recommendations I went to Dr. hedden and knew he was the surgeon for me. He was patient, knowledgeable and very down to earth. I arrived at his office at 7:30 am the morning of surgery and about 9:30 I was back in the OR suite. The pre-op nurse and CRNA were wonderful! I remember laying on the OR table and waking up in PACU. The PACU nurse wasn't all that great, she seemed very impatient and not compassionate at all. I got some sprite to drink and got in the wheelchair and was on my way back to the hotel. My boyfriend was wonderful with making sure I got all my meds right on time and nitro cream on my nipples every 4 hours as instructed. Now as we've just about completed post op day 1 I'm honestly feeling great. A little sore and kind of slow doing things but much better than I thought I would be.All in all, I love my new girls(:Updated on 24 Jun 2017:So here we are, post op day 3. I slept in the bed since I got them done which is fine, until it was time to roll over which hurts. Getting out of bed is pretty painful and I need help to do that, but once I'm up and moving I feel good. I take Valium for muscle spasms when I first wake up and Tylenol through out the day. I got out of the house yesterday for a little bit and that felt good. My right breast is a lot more sore than my left, but I'm right handed and stubborn so I've probably been doing too much. Planning to take it easy today. I got a shower last night with a little bit of help and I have stopped using the nitro. PS said only to use it now if I notice my nipples turn blue, thankfully they still look normal. All in all, things are still going well. I still cant get over how much I love them (: Updated on 27 Jun 2017:Just about a week post op.. here's some progress pics. I'm pretty much back to normal activity but at the end of the day and when I get out of bed in the mornings, I do feel pretty sore. I'm stubborn so I'm probably just doing too much. Being a nurse, we make the worst patients. Only complaint today is the itching. Oh my, it itches like crazy sometimes. And occasionally I'll get sharp pains in my nipples, but I'm glad to still have feeling in them so I'll take it. I'm ready for the steri strips to come off so I can see the scars. Hopefully next week they'll start coming off. I use a cool blow dryer on them after the shower just to dry them really good (something I tell my patients so I decided to practice what I preach lol) so these steri strips will probably stay on the whole 3 weeks. Oh well, whatever is best for the girls (: Updated on 17 Jul 2017:Just a little update, about a month post op, finally took the steri strips off. I'm super pleased with how my incisions look and I don't think the scars will be bad at all. Going to start using scar cream soon.Updated on 26 Jul 2017:I wanted to post a quick scar update, I'm 35 days post op. And like most of you ladies my biggest fear was having bad scars. Y'all, I can't even explain how amazed I am at how good my scars look!!! I've been using a cream called Invincible Scars that I researched and found on Amazon. It's worked so good! And it's way less expensive than all the other creams and scar treatment out there. Now I've never really had an issue with scarring, never had a keloid or raised scar problem so some this may be genetic or some maybe be this great cream!! "

"I have been a client of Dr. Hedden for several years. I have gotten Botox, Dysport and Juvéderm injections, Chemical Peels, Lime Light, Titan, and recently Fraxel and Pearl. I have always been extremely pleased with the results at Hedden's office. I once went to a medi-spa with a Juvéderm coupon and left horrified at my appearance. My lips looked like a duck and my upper lip was lumpy. It really takes talent, practice, and knowledge to get it right. Dr. Hedden has all 3. I'll never go back that medi-spa again.
I prefer Dysport over Botox to get rid of and prevent forehead wrinkles. It seems to last a little longer and costs a little less! I love Juvéderm to slightly plump my lips and fill in my nasolabial fold."
