"I had nothing but a great experience! - I had a breast augmentation with Dr. Hedden 05/07/24. From the virtual consult (I’m an out of state pt) forward I had nothing but a great experience! Their out of town coordinator, Heather, is such a pleasure and does her job very well! I had consults at other practices but no one made me feel as if they were confident in their ability to give me what I wanted except for Dr. Hedden. I’m 4 weeks post op and only wish I had done this sooner!! As a 37yr old mom of 3, my breast volume had decreased. Dr. Hedden has given me a great deal of confidence in my body. I’m able to actually fill out to top part of a bra now! We are dropping pretty quickly. I was pretty deflated before my augmentation as you can see in my previous photos. So when you have previous deflating from breast feeding or weight loss, you tend to drop a little faster since the loose skin is more able to adapt to the implant versus tight skin. My incisions are pretty unnoticeable from a glance. Hats off to my surgeon for that. I’m healing great and I’m looking forward to seeing my final results. More updates next week! "A Whole New Me! - What a life-changing experience with Dr. Halka! As a 45-year-old woman, wife, and mother, I finally realized that taking care of myself IS taking care of my family. I decided to put myself and my health first for a change and set a goal to lose the excess weight I've been carrying around my entire life. With bariatric surgery, a complete lifestyle change to a low-carb diet, and 4-6 intense 5 am workouts weekly, I lost 110 pounds and have maintained the loss for two and a half years. This was ah-mazing! However, after two years of hard work and dedication, my body was still a saggy, floppy mess even after the incredible weight loss. I decided to go for a Mommy Makeover consultation at Hedden & Gunn Plastic Surgery after following them on Instagram for about a year. I met with Dr. Halka, who was very thorough and took his time explaining everything, answering all of my questions, and addressing all of my concerns. I went on two other consultations in Huntsville, AL, and Chattanooga, TN as those locations are closer to my home, but ultimately, I chose Dr. Halka's plan for the procedure and recovery because it was the best. We decided on a 360 body lift with muscle repair and lipo, breast augmentation with 500 cc Mentor silicone implants placed above the muscle, and fat transfer to the buttocks. The procedure went smoothly with no complications, and I followed the post-op instructions to the letter. Now, 12 weeks post-op, I am incredibly happy with my results. Dr. Halka didn't just perform a Mommy Makeover, he created a whole new version of me. "I had a pain free recovery - Scheduled my consult with Dr. Fontana at Hedden & Gunn in Birmingham, Alabama because she took the time to call me and talk through my concerns. I had previously committed to a different surgeon but wasn't 100% confident that he was the surgeon for me. After talking with Dr. Fontana I moved my surgery to Hedden & Gunn. She performed a breast lift, breast implants, Labiaplasty, fat grafting to the labia majoras and a TCA peel under my eyes while I was under general anesthesia. I had a pain free recovery. Some swelling and tightness, which was expected, but no pain. I feel like Dr. Fontana's skills are so good that she did my surgeries so well that it has allowed me to heal fast and feel good the entire time. She is super sweet and patient also. I wish I’d have gone with 800cc because boob greed is a real thing lol but I’m glad I got the 600 because bras are hard to find in a 38E lol but compared to what I started with I’d say I have a 95% improvement and I love the way all my clothes fit now! My scars have healed nicely and are barely even visible and can’t even be seen at all when I’m standing up. I still have some numbness but I’m a type 1 diabetic so I assume mine just take longer to fully heal but I have enough sensation back that I’m not too worried about it. Dr. Hedden did an amazing job and I’m happy I listened to everything he suggested. When I started this journey I was so afraid because what if I spent all this money and it didn’t turn out good. Almost a year out and I’m 1000% so happy that I did it and that I chose Dr. Hedden to do them! "Easy recovery and very satisfied with my results - Dr Hedden did a fantastic job in June of 2022 I had a plus size tummy tuck with lipo to flanks and upper abdomen as well as a breast augmentation. I had tuberous breast deformity and was scheduled to also have a lift at time of the original surgery. There is always a risk that they cannot complete the lift due to something I can’t recall. But I had 450 cc saline implants put in and my breast looked pretty awful due to my deformation. He released the bands and they settled in and turned out we could get away with not doing a lift but since they had stretched I could then do a swap to silicone and opted for 750 cc which look extremely natural. Having two surgeries to get them where I wanted was understandable and worth it. My recovery was easy just follow all instructions. I am very satisfied with my results."

"38B to 40DD - 3 weeks post 600cc, HP, silicone, Mentor - I had four children, breast fed and lost a lot of weight in the process. My weight would always fluctuate so that left me with REALLY droopy and uneven breast. I was always embarrassed of my breast and would never wear a swim top or anything due to them making me so insecure. I researched breast implants near me and several came up but one just kept coming up in every search, Hedden Plastic Surgery. I researched the center and did a virtual consult with Dr. Hedden, where I sent pictures of my then breast and told him what I wanted. It took him a few days to respond because he answers the emails personally, but he was Very informative on what my body needed and how it would look. After talking with friends, I ended up having 5 friends whom had used him . He suggested a lift but I was terrified with the scars. I went ahead and made an appointment and paid my fees. I went in about a week later and met with him. He looked at my body and educated me on the process and everything I needed to know. In December of 2015 I decided to get implants. I was given Dr. Hedden name from several people who used him for their breast augmentation. I can and for a consultation with him. I decided decided on 750cc under the muscle. I had a l lift and implants. I was back at work by the time the Christmas break at school was over.I had no problems, pain was minimal. "Questions for other tummy tuckers - I have wanted a tummy tuck for as long as I can remember and I was finally able to do with the help of Dr. Stephen Gunn. I love him, Dr. Hedden, and their staff. I wouldn't go anywhere else! I had a revised breast augmentation, tummy tuck, and lipo.I had my surgery on 8/10/19. I spent the night in Birmingham the night before my surgery and the night of my surgery so we didn't have to get up as early the morning of the surgery. I had very little anxiety the night before. It was more excitement. We got to the surgery center and were called back in a reasonable amount of time. They began prepping me and I went back within about an hour of arriving (I was the first patient that day). I went in the OR and the next thing I know I'm waking up to go back to the hotel. I was in some pain and could not stand upright, naturally. I highly recommend the Exparel shot - worth the extra money. My husband had my meds filled and kept my meds coming on schedule, day and night, for the first few days to stay "on top of" the pain. My recovery has been pretty unremarkable, but I am 10 days out and I am having so much hypersensitivity. I seem to be having a pity party today. Luckily I have read that this is somewhat normal, which makes me feel better. :) My skin literally hurts! I called and they said that was normal and would go away with time. The drains are also on my last nerve (hopefully will come out Sept 4 - 2 weeks is enough!). They are hurting more than anything else. I can't find anything to wear that will cover them up, so I'm stuck at home and going stir crazy. I may be having a reaction to some of the tape, because it is itching me to death. Lastly, they should make these binders in petite. Because I'm so short, mine rides up so bad and doesn't cover everything it needs to. I struggle with it constantly.Now, I am finished with my pity party and the "bad" and will continue with the "good." I am very pleased with my results. Are my results perfect? No, but there was so much to go from where I was to perfect, I'm completely happy with what I have. My only concern is that there is a distinct line at my hips, almost like saddle bags. I go back next week to take stitches out of my BB and, hopefully, to get this other drain out.After the disappointment at the office, I decided to do a little retail therapy since I literally haven't been in real clothes in two weeks. It was much needed, but now I'm suffering from the swelling. Luckily, I don't have much to do tomorrow, so I can lay around and try to get rid of the swell hell."

"Amazing! - I had weight loss surgery in 2012 and I lost over 200 pounds and surprisingly I lost all self confidence. My breast were nothing but hanging skin and I was not happy with how I looked without clothes on. I was ashamed of how I looked. I didn't feel like a woman anymore. "5'8" 550 CC's under the muscle saline biplaner - I have been wanting breast implants for around 15 years. And now my opportunity to get them has arrived! I have researched surgeons for months and found one I'm very happy with, that even before I scheduled my surgery returned my emails, even on the weekends. (I didn't expect a response until Monday, but how amazing) Since I live out of state from my surgeon I have spoken with numerous helpful associates and I have an in person consultation on the 25th. My surgery is scheduled for the 26th and I am so absolutely excited/scared. I really can't say enough about Dr. Hedden and everyone there!!!Updated on 12 Jul 2019:I'm going to try to write this fast because it's gotten deleted two times already and I am tired of trying to get this to post. I have had five children I am 35 years old I got 550 cc's I'm extremely happy with them. The first week of recovery was hell. I thought after having five kids I would be able to bounce back pretty quickly but that was not the case I have been very sore very swollen. I started my massages early about a week after my surgery I started massaging and I do massage more than what's even recommended because I really want a good outcome from this. With all the sagging I have I was offered who left as well but I decided against that and I just went with implants and I got a biplanar position sothe implants should move down and look natural I'm still waiting for them to completely drop and fluff. I love them so far I'm extremely happy with the outcome I feel better about myself I'm going to be able to wear the bathing suits I want the shirts I want I have more confidence I'm very happy that I did this for myself. Sorry my pictures have been out of order but I'm very frustrated right now because some will load and some will not and yeah"
"5'8" 550 CC's under the muscle saline biplaner - I have been wanting breast implants for around 15 years. And now my opportunity to get them has arrived! I have researched surgeons for months and found one I'm very happy with, that even before I scheduled my surgery returned my emails, even on the weekends. (I didn't expect a response until Monday, but how amazing) Since I live out of state from my surgeon I have spoken with numerous helpful associates and I have an in person consultation on the 25th. My surgery is scheduled for the 26th and I am so absolutely excited/scared. I still have some things to do on my to do list before my husband and I leave and I'm trying to get the rest of my list done today. As I work tomorrow and my husband and I leave after work. I was opting to get a tummy tuck first but decided to go with implants. I'm wanting saline implants under the muscle. I wanted to do a lift but I'm going to try implants first because a lift is more complicated and I have kids and a job to recover quickly for. My problem is I don't know how many CC's to get!? I'm 5'9" and I want to be around a dcup but I want them to look natural, not like melons. Lol I'm a small b now. Any advice???"

"The ONLY surgeon I will use - Dr. Hedden has preformed 2 surgeries on me 4 years apart and I have been happy with both. First was a breast augmentation and then a Brazilian butt lift. I will never use anyone else for anything else. All surgeries are in house so no hospital visits needed and there is even a spa upstairs that fits all your other needs. I refer every girl I see to him and they are all happy with their results as well. I got to the clinic at 6:15, signed all my paperwork, did my pre-op, Dr.Hedden and his medical team got me all prepped and marked me up. They were the nicest people who made me feel so comfortable! We discussed my sizing before I went into the operating room. During my first consultation in November, we decided on 450cc saline implants under the muscle. Today, I told Dr.Hedden I wanted to be a full DD a year from now and that I wanted him to try 500cc’s and he said he would do it! And just like that, I woke up with 500cc saline implants and I couldn’t be happier that I went up the extra 50cc’s before surgery. My mom is my caregiver, so she got me after surgery and filled my medications for me. I was able to eat and drink water when I got back to my hotel room. And I DID NOT PUKE! I have heard that a lot of people get sick after surgery, but I have been fine and dandy. I ate some chicken salad, saltine crackers, peanut butter crackers, 2 pieces of chicken Florentine pizza, and I’ve had a few butter cookies! I have also drank A LOT of water today, along with some sprite. I’ve been drinking Life Wtr because it has electrolytes which is what you need after undergoing surgery! Not too much pain. My boobs do not hurt, it is mostly my upper back. It just feels like I had a hard work out or I’ve been carrying a big backpack for too long. I moved from my bed to use the bathroom and walks up and down the hall to help my blood flow. I’ve been taking my pain medication on the dot, which I think has really helped me a lot. Like I said, it’s not my boobs that hurt - it’s just my back. So when my back started bugging me while laying in bed, I moved to the chair in my hotel room and sat straight up. It ended up relieving ALL of my back pain and it knocked me out for a hour nap. So I definitely recommend that. I have my bed all set up with pillows surrounding me so I can sleep on my back, and I will update you all tomorrow on how I’m feeling and how I slept! I will also post some pics tomorrow!"

Overall, I feel great today! I got up, took a shower, and even did my hair and make up! My back doesn’t hurt this morning, I just feel pressure on my chest but no pain. Slept through the night last night too! I put comfy pillows all around me so I would stay on my back! So far so good guys, about to start on my antibiotics!Updated on 6 Jan 2018:Had my first check up yesterday, and Dr.Hedden says everything is great! I can wear normal bras during the day now. So I immediately went shopping after my appointment. I found that I’m somewhere between a 36DD-36DDD - which is very exciting. I look normal in clothes, and they have already dropped a lot and the scars are almost not even there and I’m so happy about that!"

"25 Years Old No Kids. 5'4" 115 Pounds. - My experience with Dr. Hedden was the best! I had a breast augmentation in July of 2012 and it was okay. I did 290cc of saline I can't say anything bad about that surgeon. I just wanted an upgrade I wanted them bigger and I wanted silicone! I had a friend that went to dr. Hedden and she was very pleased with him, so I decided I scheduled a consultation with him it took me about 2 months to get a consultation. I was in the office for probably 15 mins before I was called into a room to see dr. Hedden! Me and my boyfriend played around with the samples while we waited to see what size we liked. I was kinda hard for me to tell what it would look like since I already had implants. Originally I was wanting to go to a 450! But me and my boyfriend continued to talk about it and said we really couldn't even tell a difference so we picked 500 (he wanted me to go a lot bigger being a male of course) but I researched and researched females my size and 500 cc of silicone gel, and I truly liked the size and I felt those would look best! My consultation was July the 14th and that day we scheduled the surgery for august the 10th. My surgery was scheduled for 8 I got back in the room about 9 around 10 the took me back for surgery. I remember waking up around 12:15 and I left at 12:30, I ended up getting 525cc silicone gel! It was a super easy process. I felt like everything was done in a timely manor. I stayed the night the night of my surgery and had to follow up post op day one, while I was there I got some juvaderm injections in my lips! It was pretty painful but I have to say I absolutely love them! They a beautiful I've received so many compliments on my lips! I'm now post op day 5 I can pretty much do anything I'm still a little sore! I will return to work Friday and I can't wait to show off my lips! I highly recommend dr. Hedden and his facility. He truly listens to you and your concerns. He puts his patients first. The staff is awesome as well, they make you feel at home. And the anesthesiologist was great to! The day after I got home I had a get well soon card from his facility which was super kind. If I could do it all over again I wouldn't change one thing! "31 Year Old, Childless and Breastless - This initial review will be short until I have more time to fully describe the GREAT experience and breast augmentation that I received at Hedden Plastic Surgery in Birmingham, Alabama. Prior to deciding to undergo a breast augmentation, my weight settled at 135 lbs on my 5'7" frame and my poor breasts were deflated. My right breast was in Stage I ptosis and I knew that I wanted to do something about them. My Iphone made my breast look really saggy but when Dr. Hedden saw me on July 11th, he told me that I did NOT need a lift and would be fine with a breast augmentation. I settled on 450 cc in my right breast and 485 cc in my left breast. Recovery was harder than I expected. My cousin stayed with me for a week but the first 4 days were intense and I do not have any memory of day #3. However, 12 days later I feel great. The way to do it will be below breast. Still, Dr Hedden was sweet enough to tell us that I can still think it over until tomorrow and he will do what I want. . I am definitely want 800cc. HP.Ladies! Please do not forget get warranty on you implants! You will have ID card after surgery and you have to call ( in my case its Mentor) them during 30 days after surgery. I got my meds , my sports bras.I have my loving supporting fiancee .Lets do it! Dr Hedden made me feel confident and secure about tomorrow surgery. I was in such a pain, i felt like my chest was heavy and on fire .I wad throwing up. But I let time go and try to heal.Thanks to my fiancee who was taking care of me in hotel room.I was told by Carol that Dr Hedden was able to give me size I wanted 800cc Yayyyyyy! "Breast Augmentation After Breast Reduction - He is simply awesome. I was pretty apprehensive about letting another PS touch me because the PA that did my breast reduction really did a [RS bleep] poor job. However I'm SO satisfied with Dr. Heddens work with correcting my breast. He treated my scars and gave me my projection back. I will forever be grateful of him!! His staff was awesome and I absolutely loved his anesthesiologist-- she was very kind. My whole experience was great. My husband had questions after hours and the nurse on called called him back at 2am in the morning. I was scheduled to have my consultation the day before my surgery bc I live in Tennessee but I missed it due to complications with my rental car. So I done my consult and surgery in the same day. "33 Years Old, No Kids, I Have Breasts Again! - I grew large breasts when young then lost weight and lost my breasts too. Having went through all of my 20's with just wispy ghosts of boobs, I decided before I was 35 to get breast implants. I've always loved augmented breasts and that's what I wanted! Dr. Hedden wants what YOU want. After hearing surgeon after surgeon recommend 325-350cc, Dr. Hedden listened to what I wanted and I chose a 420cc implant, silicone, smooths under the muscle with an underboob incision. I am tired at work because I'm staying up all night stalking the internet for BA pictures. I'm from NY but plan to travel to Birmingham, AL to have my BA performed by Dr. Hedden. I've done my research on him and he has overall positive reviews. I also had an email consultation with him, and from the email he seemed pleasant. He did say that I have slight drooping and thus recommended a biplanar BA of at least 350 Cc which is fine because I am a B cup and would like to be at least a D. His office offers a 3day out of town package with the first day pre op, second day surgery, and third day post op. I plan on taking off for a week. My supervisor said she's not sure if I'll get off but I've made up my mind. I've wanted BA since I was 18 and at this point I'm so anxious to do it that its more important than my job. Hell, I'm 4 classes from my masters. So, if they fire me I'll find something else. I know, I'm rambling. Anyways, I need this surgery like yesterday. I finally decided to join RS about 3 weeks ago. I have just now found the courage to post. I am 26 years old. I have 3 children. 5'4"- 170 pounds. With a recent 30 pound weight gain. I have desired larger breasts for a couple of years now. Just so tired of not feeling like a woman. With my weight gain, I gained everywhere but my breasts. "34 Yr Old Mom of 3. 5'4" 137 lbs 425 cc saline subpectoral biplanar - Birmingham, AL - I've wanted to get breast augmentation as long as I can remember. I've been self conscious of my small boobs forever. I loved how big they got while I was breast feeding my kiddos but we all know that doesn't last long. Not only did my boobs shrink but I feel that they became way too droopy. I only own 2 bras that don't have some sort of push up, but If I leave the house I am usually wearing one of my bombshell bras from Victoria's Secret. After my baby started K this year my hubby and I started researching Drs and with a solid recommendation from a friend we decided on Dr Hedden in Birmingham. I scheduled my consultation and after meeting him I felt a lot more at ease with my decision. It was definitely fun trying on all the sizers. And I narrowed it down to somewhere between 400-450 ccs I don't want to be too big but I definitely don't want to come out regretting going to small. And trying to decide between saline and silicone is so tough. I really would like silicone, because they feel so real. But I don't know if I would be able to make myself get an MRI every 2 years to check for a silent rupture. So many decisions!! But very exciting ones :) Also dr Hedden suggested that I get a biplanar augmentation due to my droopiness. He said it wasn't bad enough to require an actual lift. "26 Yrs Old, 1 Child, Natrelle Style 20, High Profile, Silicone, 450ccs Left, 475 Ccs Right - Birmingham, AL - I just had mto bready augmentatuon done 10/30/15. I decided on silicone 450ccs and he recommended adding an extra 25ccs to the right breast bc I didn't like how much smaller it was compared to the left breast. They are moderate profile and under the muscle, he made that decision based on my body style and shape. The first 2 days were pretty rough but I feel alright now other than the tightness and heavy feeling. I had some pretty bad bruising and since I was an out of state patient I sent my PS pictures and he said it was normal, I usually bruise easily anyway. I know it will take weeks till months for them to drop but I find myself worrying a lot that they never will. I wonder if I'm using my arms to much, I went back to work today. I'm not lifting anything over 10 lbs but I do use my arms a lot and probably shouldn't be doing as much as I am but it's not painful to reach above my head, shower, wash my hair, do laundry etc. I'm also worried that I should have gone a little bigger, I can't wait for the weeks and months to come to see what the end result is. PS told me the right breast would sit higher longer than the left because of the extra 25ccs but the left one actually looks like its higher. I'm very happy that I still have sensation in both nipples and I hope this doesn't change but I have a good but of numbness under and on the sides.Updated on 6 Nov 2015:Today is one week since my breast augmentation. I've had a good bit of pain (mostly the left breast), it feels like it's just the muscles so I took the Valium I was prescribed. My sternum hurts so bad it feels like it's broken, the Valium helped and once I got home from work I placed ice packs on them. I'm not able to hold my arms down by my side like I usually would bc they're poking out the sides and under my arms...this causes a lot of discomfort between my shoulder blades in my back. I'm off work the next 2 days so I'll be taking it easy.Updated on 7 Nov 2015:Today has been much better than yesterday =) When I woke up this morning I took two Motrin with breakfast and haven't had to take a pain killer yet and its almost 6pm. I still have a good bit of discomfort due to swelling and implants being very high, also my breast bone still feels very sore. I have my fingers crossed for another good day tomorrow and an even better one Monday since I'll be at work."

I'm currently in graduate school, 23 years old, 5'2", 157lbs (currently dieting and exercising responsibly before the surgery) and I have ALWAYS HATED my breasts. I've finally bitten the bullet and realized this is something that I need to do for my own self esteem. "Ever Since a 21 Hr Birth my Labia Have Left Me Feeling Very Insecure - Birmingham, AL - My first child took many hours to get out of me. Afterwards my vajayjay never looked quite the same. I felt very insecure about it. I also developed a hemorrhoid which makes me even further insecure. After my second child, which took 10 hours, my vajayjay and hemorrhoid looked even worse. My first husband (and children's father) would withhold sex from me and would tell me it was because I was ugly and disgusting. I also lost boobage and he would tell me that I was so unsexy. Even though, I lost boobage, they really didn't look that bad. I was still a perky 34B. I was 110 pounds after both kids, I had no stretch marks or anything.... We divorced within a year after the birth of my second child. I have wanted a labiaplasty for years not just because of my first husband's hateful and cruel words but because of my own insecurities And because of the pain I would have from exercise, riding bicycles, sex, clothes, etc., etc. (my kids are now teenagers). I remarried a little over two years ago to a wonderful man who made me feel good about myself and made me feel normal and who did not notice anything at all wrong with me. However, I still had my major insecurities in those areas. So, I recently had labiaplasty done and am undecided about the outcome of it. I think it looks great except for one spot. I am hoping I still have a little swelling but I think it is actually almost healed. Most of my stitches have already come out. It's been itching like crazy for the past couple of days. Clothes are an irritant and it's been hard finding something to wear to work that doesn't look frumpy because all I really want to wear are sweats!I have yet to get the hemorrhoid taken care of and didn't even bring it up with my surgeon but am hoping that at my next gynecologist visit I can bring it up to her and maybe get a procedure covered by insurance. I am really ready to feel sexy again! (Of course, I have gained some weight over the years and I need to drop about 20 lbs to get back into good shape again lol) I am determined to do that after I get my procedures done:)Labiaplasty and hemorrhoids, in my opinion, is one of the hardest things for women to talk about with anyone. It's even embarrassing to talk about it with a doctor and his staff. Absolutely no one knows that I have had this done except me, my doctor and his staff. My husband doesn't even know about the labiaplasty and he was the one with me to bring me home and take care of me after surgery... So this is my only outlet. I also had a breast augmentation done on the same day (under a different review.) My breasts look amazing and are fast healing as well:) I basically told my husband that he keeps his hands off of me for at least six weeks and that he will not even get a peek of my boobies because they have to go through some changes, etc. and he is totally respecting my privacy over it. Which, in turn, gives me my privacy regarding my vajayjay! I have no idea how I'll handle telling him about a hemorrhoid removal if/when I have it but I'll figure something out!"
"Breast implants - I have wanted breast implants since I was very young. But they are actually smaller now and less pretty since I had my first baby. After I stopped breastfeeding , every ounce of breast tissue I had, completely dissolved. I would definitely feel more confident in my clothes and bathing suites if I had breasts to even out my body. "Upcoming Breast Augmentation!!!! Finally.... - Birmingham, AL - well.....i am almost 2 months post op (on the 10th) and i absolutely love my results! they look and feel completely natural! dr. hedden is amazing and i will only use him for any of my other surgeries that i decide to get. so.....i got 500cc saline high profile implants. I will say that i probably could have gotten larger......my breast look amazing and definitely fit my frame though. who knows, after a few years i may go back and get around 700cc as an "upgrade". i am measuring a 34DD or a 32DDD. in clothes, my boobs look big!! but out of clothes they dont have that "fake" look that i thought they would have, which is good and bad. its good because my breast look natural but it could be bad cause something i feel like they are small than what i wanted...but in clothes they look great!the left side is still riding a little bit higher than the right side, but other than that they are healing great and definitely squishy! my incision site (belly buttton) looks amazing also.... i do still feel track marks across my abs but i have been slacking on massaging my belly so thats definitely my fault. any ladies debating between what cc size to get, i would definitely say pick the LARGER number and then ADD about 50-75cc extra to it!! some days, i feel like my boobs look small and then others i feel like they are huge! but i will let you all decide from the pictures i post!"

Took ton of searching but came across Dr Hedden using real self. 31 with 3 children all were breast fed which takes a toll on the body. Finally decided time to do something for myself. The process was really smooth and easy. Emailed Dr Hedden my pics, he replied within couple of days with his recommendation. From then on I dealt mainly with the out of town patient coordinator Heather. Everyone I encountered on Staff was extremely helpful and kind. Very professional office no complaints. I just had my implants on 9/26 so I don't know the outcome just yet but looks great so far. I have 650cc implants on both sides using saline and received the breast crease incision. Pain is minimal, I do need help doing certain things its difficult using your Arms but I would rate pain a 1 on scale of 1 to 10 ,1 being lowest. I stay on top of my pain meds which I'm sure is helping. Haven't experienced any nausea. Surgery day I spent sleep only woke to eat and walk a little too rest room. Pretty much been same and I'm 2 days post op and I'm just relaxing and sleeping day away. Meds make you so drowsy. I haven't iced my breast yet. I need to read my directions on of it is mandatory or just suggested. Dr hedden was very friendly, helpful made sure I was comfortable and wanted to make sure I was pleased and left with what I wanted. So far so good I will keep you guys updated on my progress, of course they have that typical just implanted look. High and smashed into my chest. Lol but they look even and I believe once they began to drop will be exactly what I wanted. I still can't believe I went for 650cc sound so big but hey go big or go home right? Lol fyi I'm 5"8 200 lbs so my frame is def thick enough to carry this size implant. Minimal pain wouldn't even call pain just slight discomfort at times. None of the mornin or night booby or even any of the bad things I've heard from others. Only take ibuprofen only once or twice a day but just a generic over the counter no need for the stronger med from my doctor at the moment. Having a wonderful experience so far. Haven't seen my incision though ,still under the strip. Been wearing two cheap Hanes sports bra in picture. Didn't want to invest in good one until knew sizing. Now I want a better one, strong support, prettier, etc. They look good to me but my implants still riding high of course. I do see slight difference right is riding higher in my chest bit both breast still seem to sit evenly. Not sure if explaining this right but I'll attach pics. Either way only few days post op and i'm experiencing nothing out of the norm. Going be patient and watch this dropping processDoc said no massaging or manipulating breast until they tell me to. Follow appt in about week and a half pray they see the exact progress they should. Anyway, I'll post again maybe at 2 weeks post op unless any new worthy events arise. Oh is icing mandatory or as need?I have only done this once so far. "TUBA Boob Implants 385CC Under the Muscle - Birmingham, AL - I received under the muscle saline implants (385CC) via the TUBA incision. I had initially planned on getting silicone through the armpit using a Keller funnel. But, silicone requires a larger incision and I am prone to scarring. Besides, even if my implants do deflate, replacements can also be done via TUBA as well (in most cases....my doctor advised me of this). I already had a scar in my navel due to a tummy tuck so the plastic surgeon just went in through the same scar. So, I have no *new* scars by choosing saline. The thing about saline that really bugged me at first is the fact that if they did deflate, I would have one flat breast. But, Mentor has a warranty for replacement implants and will also give you up to $1200 in doctors fees to have them replaced. And with the $1500 I saved by using saline combined with the warranty, I have more than enough money in my booby emergency fund to replace my saline implants if I ever need to. No matter whether you get saline or silicone, breast implants are not lifetime devices anyway. I did not want to spend a lot of money on silicone and then hate them and feel that implants are not for me. I did not want to spend too much money on my first surgery--because, let's face it, if you have implants, you are likely going under the knife again for replacements and revisions due to aging, breastfeeding, rupture etc. They say silicone feels more natural. But, I am not in a sexual relationship right now anyway so I don't care about that. If I do get into a relationship, it certainly will not be with a man who is whiny enough to complain about how my saline implants feel! I am a thin woman...any man with eyes can see that. And thin women rarely have huge natural boobs because fat is a big component of boobs. If a man is too dimwitted to understand that, then I do not want to be with him anyway.I am a big geek....I actually sat down with a pen and piece of paper and wrote out a list of pros and cons between my two choices (saline TUBA versus silicone through the armpit). Cost was not an issue for me. And even then, saline won out. Everyone is different and I advise anyone considering breast implants to do a list of pros and cons when it comes to which doctor to choose and which implant material to choose. If I did not already have a belly button scar from a tummy tuck, maybe silicone would have won out on my "pros and cons" list. The day after surgery was rough....my stomach was killing me. But, now I feel a lot better. Waking up, your boobs feel heavy and hard. But, it is getting easier to move around. TUBA recovery is a lot easier than the armpit recovery and plus there are no tell tale scars on my boobs. I am very happy with TUBA. When they drop and fluff, I will be even happier!"

Today April 13, 2013 post op day 9 I'm doing fine just my left breast is still a little high and firm and my right has dropped some and soften a little.. Also Dr. Hedden assistant is the best!!!! "So Happy With My New Boobs! - Birmingham, AL - Hello! This website helped me tremendously when I was making the final decision to get breast implants so I thought I would share my story! I am 25 years old 5'4 and 115 pounds. I have wanted bigger boobs literally since I was 16 years old. My breasts have always been a huge insecurity because not only were they small, but I didn't think they were very pretty. I have always been a measly 34 A to small B cup. I always knew that I wanted to get the surgery one day, but I just didn't know when I would actually go through with it. I finally made the decision to get the surgery done just a few months ago. I wanted to get it done before bikini season (and with enough time to make sure they would be healed and settled). Was only required to send some pictures to Dr. Hedden to make sure I was a good candidate before making the drive. He told me I was a good candidate for breast augmentation and I scheduled my surgery for March 26th, 2013. Dr. Hedden recommended that I do the Rice test for a few days to get an idea of what size I wanted. Before my consultation I had in mind that I wanted to be a full C cup with 375-400CC Saline implants with the TUBA surgery (a scarless surgery through the belly button). My biggest thing was that I didn't want to have any visible scars and I wanted my breast to look natural. However, after my consult we decided that it would be best for me to go with 400CC silicone sub-muscular (under the muscle) and through the crease underneath my breast. I went with silicone because of my lack of breast tissue. This way I would avoid any rippling. The doctor also informed me that I had a very small case of tubular breasts and that he would be able to fix this with doing an incision underneath the breast. Although everything I went with was completely different than what I originally had in mind, I felt great about the decision because the doctor knew what he was doing. So one lesson learned was to keep an open mind going into this! I had my surgery at 6:00am the morning following the consult. I had so many emotions - excited, nervous, anxious, and just ready for it to be over with! Before I knew it I was awake with my new boobs! There really wasn't much pain after the surgery, just soreness/tightness in my chest (I am sure the pain meds helped:) . I was just in and out of sleep the first few days and took it easy. I am now day 6 post-op and feeling great. I still have some tightness in my chest, but I assume that is just part of the going under the muscle. They are still riding pretty high and are still pretty hard, but I am loving the way they are looking so far! It is crazy to think that I have nice big boobs now! My whole experience was so easy and I would do it again tomorrow! I definitely recommend breast augmentation if you are on the fence about it! Will keep you all updated on my progress! :)"

They are starting to really feel like they are mine. Soreness is gone and my incisions look great. I went to VS the other day and was sized at a 32DD! I was shocked since I was only going for full C, but I don't think they look too large. Very happy with my results!"

Wish me luck*Updated on 14 Mar 2013:I see that a lot of doctors are telling me that they think based off my pictures that I posted that 700 cc's are way to big for me. I want to be able to be as big a my body allows without looking ridiculous. I have wide shoulders. I think I can handle more than a average woman my size and age can. I will see what Dr. Hedden says once I met him in May. I googled "700 cc breast implants/augmentations" and there are some pictures that look ridiculous as well as amazing. Its all about the body frame and breast size prior to surgery that seems to determine the outcome. We will see. I just dont want to become one of those girls that says " I WISH I WOULD HAVE BEEN BIGGER."Updated on 23 Mar 2013:I am an active woman. I am a crossfit member and workout at the gym but I am a huge girlie girl. I work in an office environment. Does the size breast effect your workout or how active you can be? This is a big deal and I don't want to have to change my size like a lot of females wishing they would have went bigger. My range is 600-700 cc's.Updated on 7 Apr 2013:3 weeks away! Im so excited. "Happy! Wish I Had Gotten Them 30 Years Ago - Birmingham, AL - I am 50 years old and I got my breast implants in May. I wish I had gotten them 30 years ago. I could not be happier with the results. My breast look better now than they did when I was 25. I did get silicone 375cc. I went from an A to a full C. My only regret is that I did not go bigger. They were so swollen after the surgery, after the swelling went down I was a little disappointed. The best decision I made was in choosing my doctor. I did drive 7 hours but it was worth it. I have friends who had their surgery locally have uneven results. Mine are beautiful."
"The Best Breast Augmentation Ever!!! - Birmingham, AL - Lost breast size due to physical training and 10 pregnancies and at 45 my breasts now look better than most 20 year olds!!!! Updated on 2 May 2012: I have had so many compliments since Dr William Hedden did my breast Augmentation on April 25th 2012. I am very physically fit and had gained a lot of muscle but lost lots of fat and my poor boobs vanished in the process! I went from having a size 38c to a deflated 36 b cup. I had also had a breast lump removed in my twenties and for all these years had lived with one breast smaller than the other due to that surgery. I researched implants and chose silicone specifically because I wanted and needed my breasts to look and feel as natural as possible.
