"Dr. Gunn is awesome to say the least! He done my breast implants and I’m so happy I chose him to do them. After the surgery, I took a short nap then got up, went shopping and to a movie with my husband. Dr. Gunn was very thorough and answered any and every question I had! The nurses are all so nice, knowledgeable, and helpful also. The anesthesiologist was great and talked me through the whole process. Thank you for such an amazing experience!"

"After losing almost a hundred pounds, I was left with extremely loose, sagging skin, and after consulting with three plastic surgeons, I decided to go with Dr. Halka. He is exceptionally kind and patient with all my questions and concerns, and I am so happy I chose him as my surgeon. He did my brachioplasty (arm lift) and breast lift 7 weeks ago, and I am thrilled with my results. My scars look fantastic, and I honestly can’t believe how wonderfully everything is healing. I’ve had zero problems or complications. Dr. Halka will be performing my next two surgeries, a lower body lift and a thigh lift, in the coming months, and I have no worries about my care and comfort in his hands. The nurses and staff at Hedden and Gunn have also all been extremely helpful and friendly. As nervous as I was to start this journey of skin removal and reconstruction, Dr. Halka and the entire H&G team have made it as easy and painless as it could be, and I am so grateful."
"Dr Gunn is a fantastic Dr! I was absolutely miserable with the size of my Breast and implant’s. He did a huge breast revision on me. Not only did this made me feel like a completely different person. I like the way I look now. So much better. This doctor doesn’t realize change and the better quality of life he has given me. I highly recommend Dr. Gunn in his fantastic staff. They all went above and beyond to make me comfortable before the procedure during the procedure and after.. I also had Juvéderm put in my lips. It’s been 6 years since the last time I had it done. I had it done at a little spa before and wasn’t happy. Dr. Gunn and his staff made my lips look the way I wanted them to look! "Dr. Halka and his staff at Hedden & Gunn Plastic Surgery in Birmingham, AL are AWESOME. After loosing 86 pounds, I had the lower body lift, arm lift, breast lift and augmentation procedures. Dr. Halka is a surgical sculptor who turned my body from a large ugly rectangle with lots of hanging skin; into a body with a beautiful shape and a waist. I am extremely happy with my body. I recommend Dr. Halka to anyone considering surgery. Again he is AWESOME!!!!!!!"

"I have had three surgeries with Dr. Halka @ Hedden & Gunn. A lower body lift w/bbl in 03/2024 a breast lift w/ implants 07/2024 and an upper body lift 12/2024. I lost over 119 pounds with diet and exercise, I maintained the weight loss for two years and then started considering cosmetic surgery to remove the excess skin. My first consult was with a surgeon in Miami. I was nervous but paid a deposit then I thought perhaps I find a Doctor near where I live, which led me to Hedden and Gunn. I did a virtual consultation with Dr. Halka he was very thorough explaining every option in detail and even including photos of results from each surgery, He then recommended what he thought would be my best option. I then decided to meet with him in person and I could not be more glad that I did, with surgery there are many ups and downs but the care I have received by everyone at this facility has been beyond what I could have ever expected. I have said many times that I am so glad that I decided to have my surgery locally and not out of state (in my case) I am sure many surgeries go off without a hitch but to have the clinic and staff close by for any and every concern I have had has been the best option for me. I absolutely love my results, I could not have ever imagined better results even if I tried!"

The nurses, staff, and Dr. Gunn are all so sweet and caring. Dr. Gunn never made me feel uncomfortable and he listened well to my concerns and goals for getting my breast reduction. "I had a breast augmentation with Dr. Hedden 05/07/24. From the virtual consult (I’m an out of state pt) forward I had nothing but a great experience! Their out of town coordinator, Heather, is such a pleasure and does her job very well! I had consults at other practices but no one made me feel as if they were confident in their ability to give me what I wanted except for Dr. Hedden. I’m 4 weeks post op and only wish I had done this sooner!! As a 37yr old mom of 3, my breast volume had decreased. Dr. Hedden has given me a great deal of confidence in my body. I’m able to actually fill out to top part of a bra now! He answered all of my questions, addressed my concerns, and never made me feel like I was just another procedure under his belt. In addition, the anesthesiologist was awesome, the nurses, financial dept, out of town coordinator…every single person I encountered at Hedden & Gunn were so wonderful! "Doctor Hedden and his staff change lives! I flew in from Jacksonville Florida for a fractional and breast augmentation. Best decision ever! From the very beginning I felt at ease. The staff was very knowledgeable and welcoming. Doctor Hedden took his time answering all my many questions and made me feel comfortable and safe. I knew EXACTLY what to expect pre and post up. No surprises. The facility is top notch, very CLEAN and peaceful. I also had an opportunity to visit their spa for a pre op facial with Honey. It was a great way to start the journey. "I almost didn’t try this doctor because of a negative review talking about “how rude” the staff was. I have been to this facility many times and not once have they been rude. Thankfully I didn’t listen to that person. I’ve had a breast augmentation, tummy tuck, and lipo from Dr Gunn back in May of this year, and he did an excellent job! I’m actually scheduled to go back next year for some extra surgery. I am so glad after researching many doctors, I went with this one. I had such a good feeling when I walked into the building. The staff is kind and helpful, the doctors are upfront, patient, and kind, and the whole process of the surgery was flawless. Highly recommend"

I received a breast augmentation from him and he did an amazing job and about 2 months ago I got a Brazilian butt lift done by Dr. Gunn and he was beyond great!
