"After losing almost a hundred pounds, I was left with extremely loose, sagging skin, and after consulting with three plastic surgeons, I decided to go with Dr. Halka. He is exceptionally kind and patient with all my questions and concerns, and I am so happy I chose him as my surgeon. "I am seven weeks out from a breast lift performed by Dr. Halka and I am beyond pleased with the outcome. When I went for my consultation, Dr. Halka made me feel so comfortable. We went over the different types of breast surgeries and which one he felt was best for me. All the staff members have been so knowledgeable and kind especially Dr. Halka. "I went for a consultation with Dr. Halka on 10/25 2023 because in my mammogram report one of my 34 year old breast implants was leaking silicon. Dr. Halka spent time with my husband and I and explained all of the different options I had. He answered all of our questions and had a very caring and knowledgeable presence about himself that my husband and I felt good about. I chose to have a capsulectomy with silicone implant replacement. Dr. Halka help me feel very confident about my decision and I was happy about having a choice in my care. He explained the complexity in the surgery in depth with us and let us know that I would probably need a breast lift that I could have 6 weeks after the capsulectomy. I had the surgery on 11/6/2023 with very little post op pain, and to say that I am completely satisfied is an understatement. He did a fantastic job. He did such a good job that I no longer need a breast lift. In fact his whole staff including his assistant Caroline and the entire OR team were wonderful. I do not usually refer Dr's but I highly recommend Dr Halka and his team. I have faith you won't be disappointed."

"Tummy tuck/muscle repair and breast lift - I feel really good! - I’m 8 days PO and I must say, I feel really good! My recovery is not at all what I expected. I was terrified of being in excruciating pain and being helpless! The first day was kinda crazy because I was so doped up, so that was a blur. Day 2 was much better, I slept in my own bed, glad I didn’t go a get a recliner, but I guess it works for some.I’m an active person with being a group fitness instructor, so I really think that helped me out a lot. I had no real pain, just discomfort, and by day 4, I was pretty much self sufficient, I no longer need help with getting up and down, I was caring for my own incisions, emptying my drains (which I hate), and taking showers on my own!I did a lot of praying not to be helpless, even though my hubby and family were there if I needed them, I did what I could on my own. I took a while but I got it done! I still have swelling and the drain sites are irritating but I’m staying in my garment most all day. No problems at all with my breast, I’m so pleased with them.My doctor and his staff were excellent and made me feel special, he made me feel like he took pride in giving me what I wanted, so Kudos to Dr. Gunn and staff! I’m definitely glad I did it just hate I didn’t do it sooner. Today I cooked, washed clothes, and did light housework. I go back on Thursday, at that time I hope they remove the drains, so I can get back to life! No pics yet but I’ll have my doctor email them so I can share."

"I am a 31 year old mother of 5 who had been wishing for younger looking breasts and a flatter, tighter stomach for a while. I was very self conscious about the way I looked in and out of clothes! There always seemed to be something too bulgy, too droopy, too ugly. The worst was how my poor self image affected my private life with my wonderful husband and how my children always heard their mom speaking poorly of herself.

Doing what the doctor told me and taking my meds on time. My breast hurt the most. I ended up with 420cc silicone implants and a lift. The tummy tuck area is sore and if I move wrong it burns like a mother. My breast are filly high right but they will drop some so I am not to worried. The doc was great and answered all my questions, I go back in a week for the drains to be removedUpdated on 28 May 2019:So 3 weeks out, I will say the TT is the easiest thing out of all of this. I got the Experal (I think that’s how you spell it) shot and let me tell you, best $500 ever spent. My right breast is dropping slower then the left and I have a bit more pain in them then anything. I will say my back pain is the worse, I know it’s from how I am having to bend because of the muscle tightening. I am back at work, this was harder then I thought and needed more time off then I planned. I am lucky and have a very understanding boss so that’s not been a problem. My final drain tube will be out by then end of this week and I can’t wait. So far loving my flat tummy and I have curves now!!!!Updated on 30 May 2019:Well I underestimated the level of pain. My breast are super sore and the right is worse then the left. The binder is causing my back to be sore and my muscles to spasm. I am still not back to work. The left breast has dropped some but my right is not moving at all. I go back to my PS tomorrow so I hope he can tell me if this is all normal.Updated on 18 Jun 2019:I am finally feeling human. My breast are still dropping and my tummy tuck is completely healed. I am still a bit swollen but getting better everyday "
"Dr Jude LaBarbera and his crew are absolutely amazing! I came in 3 weeks ago for a breast lift with augmentation. I came from out of town so I went with the 3 day plan. First day I had my consultation, the dr really took all the time to help me decide on the size and explain the process. The next morning at 6 am was my surgery, I was very nervous and anxious, but dr Jude and his assistant were so sweet and patient. The next day I had my post op appointment, I don’t really remember very well because of the medication and the anesthesia after effects. But the experience was amazing and I love my results. "Breast lift (mastopexy) with augmentation - I am 33 years old and I’ve had self confidence issues for around 13 years because of super sagging flat breasts that had a wrinkled stretched raisin like appearance. After breast feeding my two children and my weight loss from 224 lbs to 160 lbs - I finally decided I had enough of my breasts looking the way they did. I had my breast surgery on 3/28/8. When I woke up from the surgery I was in an immense amount of pain but that faded over 3 days and I went back to work after 4 days. (Very light work duty) Right now I’m sitting at a little over a month since having them done. I chose silicone cohesive gel mentor implants filled with 450cc each. A little before 2 weeks my right breast had an allergic reaction to the adhesive of the steri strips so I took some steroids and tried to keep the steri strips on a little longer. I took the steri strips off just before the 3 week mark and the incisions looked a little scary, because of the scabbing but that’s normal. The scabs finally fell off and the incisions looked awesome for how little time had passed. At a month post op I sent my surgeon pictures and he said my nipples were still sitting a little low because the implants were still a little high. He instructed me to start massaging down so the implants would drop and give me a more natural look. I’ve also started using a scar treatment called ScarGard - it stinks something awful!! Overall I’m thrilled with how they look and can’t wait to see the final result! Updated on 4 Jun 2020:Just wanted to update with original pictures and results! One thing that I might change would be nipple size. (I would have had him cut them down a bit) It seems like once my nipples were cut lose, they relaxed and just stayed that way and now appear pretty large. I don’t have the “drawn up” movement ever - even when I’m cold. But overall, I feel like my scars are pretty minimal and my confidence has definitely improved."

Originally I looked like I had "man boobs." I had 600 cc's in each breast which makes me a 36DD. Originally the doctor said I was a small 36C. It is a painful procedure but it is well worth it in the end. I am so pleased with the results.
I know this is a tough decision for anyone to make and for me it was even tougher. I live in NJ and chose this doctor because of his prices and his reviews. His skills did not let me down because I am so happy with the results. I have recommended him to everyone that I have come in contact with. "I have been overweight all my life. I was 49 years old, weighed 289 lbs, and extremely depressed. My feet, legs, hips and especially my back hurt. I wore a size 22/24 and my feet swelled so that I could only wear one pair of dress shoes comfortably and without embarassment. I considered gastric bypass surgery for a couple of years and had just witnessed one of my best friends go through it with great success.
I made the decision to have the bypass surgery, lost 150 lbs and felt great. I was wearing a size 6-8 and looked pretty good in clothes.
I was very happy but the weight loss left my 50 year old body with a lot of excess skin. My breasts, which had previously been a 42 DDD, had become what my fiancé termed as "36 LONGS." I had nothing left but empty skin sacks. My abdomen also hung with loose skin. My legs were extremely horrible with a lot of loose skin and my arms had "bat-wings."
I made an appointment with Dr. Hedden to talk about having four procedures. He gave me the prices for tummy tuck, breast lift, leg lift and arm lift. My legs were what bothered me most and I called to schedule that procedure first. I'd had large breasts all my life and having just the breast lift would have left me with a full B/loose C cup. After talking with Dr. Hedden, I decided to go up one cup size. That is a decision I do not regret.
I had the tummy tuck and breast lift with augmentation done in his office. The staff was wonderful and very professional. I was given a prescription for pain killers and muscle relaxers. My first night was spent in a hotel room so that I could be close to Dr. Hedden's office in case of an emergency. My fiancé stayed with me, helped me to the restroom and cared for me. I had mild discomfort but it was nothing like what had been described by other people who "knew someone who had had the surgery and couldn't move for 6 weeks." I did just what the doctor ordered and had very little discomfort even having both procedures at once. The staff at Dr. Hedden's office marveled at my recovery time.
I am now a happy 36D with a very flat tummy. I love my new body and have been able to shop at Victoria's Secret for more than just the lotions! I will be going back for the other two procedures (legs and arms). Maybe after that I will have a facelift … after all I am 51 years old now!
