"I can not praise Dr. Hedden and his entire staff enough! I submitted my photos online by doing a virtual consulation and within a few days Dr. Hedden responded with what he recommended. The following day I scheduled my breast lift with implants and his office staff made sure all my questions were answered before I could even ask them. The day of my surgery everyone made sure I was comfortable and my surgery was performed without any complications. I am 10 weeks Post Op and I am very happy with my results! I highly recommend Dr. Hedden and his entire practice!"

"If you are considering going to another plastic surgeon, I urge you to reconsider. Dr. Hedden works magic. I had a tummy tuck with another Birmingham doctor three years ago and was left deformed. I had ripples all over my stomach and loose skin. It killed my confidence. After vetting many other plastic surgeons in the Birmingham area, I decided to pull the trigger on Dr. Hedden in June. My case was challenging, but it never phased Dr. Hedden to do a revision. I also decided to have a lift and implants put in. Words cannot describe how happy I am. I feel like myself again for the first time in years. Don't walk....RUN to Dr. Hedden. "I had a Tuba Breast augmentation and i am in awe of the entire experience i had from Dr. Hedden and his staff. The pre surgery was calming and Kevin my nurse anesthetist was so funny and sweet and made sure i was comfortable the entire time because i hate needles. My recovery nurse Jessica was absolutely amazing. She had a great attitude and helped me in any way i needed. Last but not least, Dr. Hedden performed amazing on my surgery. "I am a physician from South Florida who flew to Birmingham, Alabama just so I could visit Dr William Hedden at the Hedden Plastic Surgery Center and have the "miraDry" procedure performed on myself, as quite honestly, I sweat profusely and after I heard him lecture on this topic at a medical conference, I wanted to have this procedure performed on myself to stop my underarm sweat and odor.As every physician knows, doctors make the worst patients, and I was on my best behavior to avoid being one of those patients that every doctor hates to see when they walk into the treatment room. So, after a flight to Birmingham and a night at the Grand Bohemian Hotel Mountain Brook, I took an Uber to the Hedden Plastic Surgery Center and was the first patient of the day. Upon arrival, the office and surgical suite was stunningly beautiful and modern that could rival any medical office in the country. I was greeted by a friendly staff, and completed my paperwork on one of their computers.I was taken into an examination room, given a full informed consent and explanation of the miraDry procedure. Truth be told, I already did some research before hand via one of his nurses and was well prepared to have the procedure performed. I had the pleasure to have Wynn work on me and she was an outstanding medical nurse that has performed the miraDry procedure many times.After a local anesthesia that I barley felt, the miraDry procedure is like a handheld wand that uses miraWave energy that targets and destroys sweat and odor glands in your underarm. Once those glands are destroyed they do not grow back so that means once they are gone, they are gone for good. The entire procedure took about 45 minuted each side and I had pretty much zero pain and took a Uber to the airport to travel home. The only challenge was trying to keep the ice packs under each armpit and travel on a plane, so if I had to do it again, I would have spend another night in Alabama and leave the next day.So there you go, I had the miraDry procedure performed on myself and now I get to write a Yelp review about an embarrassing medical condition I have (well technically I am cured now so the correct word is "had" and I am glad I did it). The day after and next few days after the procedure were not bad at all, other than some significant swelling in my underarms that made me look like I was at the gym, and there was some mild redness. I really had no pain, no complications, and would 100% recommend this procedure and Dr Hedden to anyone that has excessive underarm sweating or odor.I am sure that there are other doctors and medical centers that offer this procedure, but I decided to go to Dr Hedden as I felt he was a world class expert in this procedure and after hearing him lecture and spend some time in his office, I am super happy I traveled to see him and his staff --- he deserves my 5 star rating on Yelp."
"First let me say that I believe my plastic surgeon, Dr. Schaffer is the best in the world!The nurses and staff are great! I got a BA by Dr. C. Schaffer. I am an out of town patient and it was well worth the travel. He took his time, was pleasant and patient during my consultation. He answered all of my questions thoroughly, and I had a TON of questions. The day of surgery the staff and Dr. Schaffer were very calming. The only thing that I really remember is waking up and being instantly in love with my results. I am 7 weeks post op and the results just keep getting better. My scars look great! That was a major concerns of mines. They are really small and thin. Everyone is amazed by my results. At first I was recommended by a friend to see Dr. Hedden, but he refused to do my surgery without a lift. Dr. Schaffer agreed and I am actually happy things turned out the way they did. I was back to work on post op day 5. My pain was not as bad as I expected it to be. The medication he prescribed worked well, but was needed. THE PERECT EXPERIENCE! I will definitely choose Dr. Schaffer again. Cost: Great (cash)Waiting time: OkResults: GreatFollow-up: GreatThe one and only issue I have had is that I ordered $60 scar cream the nurse recommended over the phone during a follow up call. Two weeks later I have yet to receive it. I spoke with a nurse, as she wants to give it a few more days before she sends me out another one. Outside of that hiccup... I am a satisfied client. I recommend Dr. Schaffer!!! You won't be disappointed!"
