The number of aesthetic plastic surgery procedures in 2022 rose 14% over the previous year, according to the latest data from the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (Aesthetic Society). The increase was fueled by the increasing popularity of nonsurgical procedures such as skin treatments, body contouring, fillers and neurotoxins, the report said.
