Dr. Jourdan Carboy, our Aesthetic Surgery Fellow for 2024-2025, looks forward to helping our patients achieve a healthy, beautiful new look with a variety of aesthetic surgery options.
Dr. Carboy earned her fellowship in Birmingham, AL through years of rigorous education, hands-on experience and continual development in surgery. With a high level of training and dedication to excellence in her craft, Dr. Carboy can help you see dramatic results with the latest surgical and minimally-invasive procedures.
Aesthetic Fellowship at Hedden & Gunn
As a recipient of our 2024-2025 Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship, Dr. Jourdan Carboy will have the opportunity to learn alongside our board-certified plastic surgeons by being exposed to more than 2,800 varied aesthetic cases per year. She dedicates the time required to understand the needs of each patient and inspire confidence with natural-looking outcomes.
Education and Training
Dr. Jourdan Carboy earned her bachelors degree in Neuroscience from Washington State University, where she graduated with honors. Dr. Carboy then attended UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas to become a Doctor of Medicine in 2018. Prior to joining Hedden & Gunn, she completed an integrated plastic surgery residency at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon.
While studying at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dr. Carboy completed a year of research during which she became a published author and artist for the textbook Facial Reconstruction After Mohs Surgery. She is also a well-published medical illustrator and has authored multiple publications and book chapters.
